1. Who we are
Vra Mevroutjie (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is owned and operated by EduAv Proprietary Limited (registration number [PLACEHOLDER — company registration number]), a company incorporated in South Africa, trading as Vra Mevroutjie. Our full contact and statutory details appear on our Legal information page.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
3. The Service
Vra Mevroutjie provides educational content to help English-speaking South African learners study Afrikaans grammar, including songs, mnemonics, interactive exercises and AI-assisted explanations. We may update, add to, or withdraw features at any time.
4. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.

- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Subscriptions, billing and the Consumer Protection Act
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed on our Pricing page and, where applicable, include VAT. Pre-launch prices shown on the site are placeholders and are not binding offers.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
- Where the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 apply, you may be entitled to a cooling-off period for certain electronic transactions. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own learning. All other rights are reserved.
8. Educational disclaimer
The Service is a study aid. While we work hard to ensure our content is accurate and useful, we do not guarantee any particular academic result, mark or outcome, and the Service is not a substitute for formal schooling or professional tuition. You rely on the content at your own discretion.
9. Availability and “as is” basis
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We may carry out maintenance that temporarily limits availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduAv Proprietary Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act.
